The Field Services Technician will provide onsite desktop and field support for end-user devices, peripherals, and workplace technology with strong customer service and ITSM discipline. All work is performed onsite in Lemont, IL without work or hybrid work options. Field Service Technician II Job Locations US-IL-Lemont ID 2026-4764 Category Information Technology Type Full Time Overview The Field Services Technician will provide onsite desktop and field support for end-user devices, peripherals, and workplace technology with strong customer service and ITSM discipline. All work is performed onsite in Lemont, IL without work or hybrid work options. Responsibilities Perform hands-on troubleshooting and break/fix for desktops, laptops, docks, monitors, printers, and peripherals. Support walk-up and field requests; coordinate with service desk for ticket ownership and user updates. Execute device lifecycle tasks including provisioning, swaps, configuration, and retirement; follow asset procedures. Maintain toolkits and standard repair tools; support AV installation requests as needed using standard tools. Comply with safety and site policies; complete required JHQ and training prior to performing work. Qualifications Associate's degree and technical training preferred; equivalent experience accepted. Minimum of 2 years of related experience. TECHNOLOGY & TOOLS: ServiceNow/Freshworks, Windows/macOS, Microsoft 365, hardware diagnostics ADDITIONAL / PLUS EXPERIENCE: SCCM/Intune/Jamf, Apple support tooling (as applicable), basic scripting Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
