Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. DayTimeThur09:15 AM - 04:15 PMSat11:15 AM - 06:15 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors, site contacts, and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout government buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas, checking for proper access, suspicious behavior, and/or conditions that may require reporting or follow-up.
- Document routine activities, incidents, and/or observations in required reports, logs, and other site documentation according to Allied Universal standards and site-specific expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
