This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting internal departments, and ensuring accounting processes run efficiently across multiple service divisions.The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This person will work closely with the Controller and leadership team to assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, reconciliations, reporting, and administrative accounting functions while helping maintain operational excellence throughout the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial SupportAssist with day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable and accounts receivableProcess invoices, vendor payments, and customer account adjustmentsAssist with bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and financial record accuracySupport monthly closing procedures and financial reporting processesMaintain organized and accurate financial documentation and recordsPayroll & Administrative SupportAssist with payroll preparation, verification, and reportingSupport employee reimbursements, deductions, and payroll-related inquiriesHelp maintain employee records and financial documentationAssist with commission tracking and payroll reporting within ServiceTitanCustomer & Vendor CommunicationCommunicate professionally with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding billing and payment mattersAssist in resolving account discrepancies and payment issuesSupport collection efforts and customer account follow-up when necessaryReporting & Data ManagementEnter and maintain accurate financial data within accounting software and ServiceTitanGenerate reports and assist leadership with financial tracking and operational reportingSupport audits, compliance requests, and documentation gatheringHelp identify opportunities for improved accounting workflows and efficienciesTeam CollaborationWork closely with the Controller and leadership team to support company financial goalsAssist with special projects, process improvements, and administrative tasks as assignedSupport multiple brands and departments within Home Promise Co. as neededQualifications2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or administrative financial experience preferredExperience with ServiceTitan, QuickBooks, or other accounting software preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrityStrong communication and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Microsoft OfficeAbility to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentExperience in the home service industry is a plusWhat We OfferCompetitive pay based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and paid holidaysOngoing training and professional developmentOpportunities for growth within Home Promise Co.A positive, team-oriented culture focused on serving people and providing solutionsAbout Quality Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & ElectricQuality Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electric exists to serve people by providing an exceptional experience from start to finish.
