About the Position

California Correctional Health Care Services Medical Assistant – Mental Health Annual Salary Range: $54,672 – $62,100

• MCSP (Ione)
• HDSP (Susanville)
• SVSP (Soledad)

Recruitment and Retention Bonus: Medical Assistants newly hired with the State of CA are eligible to receive a recruitment and retention bonus of up to $15,000 within the first 12 months of service.

Referral Bonus: All CDCR/CCHCS employees that refer a mental health clinician who is successfully hired by CCHCS may be eligible to receive a referral bonus of $5,000 per appointed referral.

To excel in this role, you should have: A valid Medical Assistant certificate from one of the following:

• American Association of Medical Assistants
• California Certifying Board for Medical Assistants
• American Medical Certification Association
• American Medical Technologists
• American Medical Certification Association
