Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Per Diem Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide hands-on care and support to residents. The CNA will follow assigned plans of care, assist residents with activities of daily living, and communicate important resident information to the licensed nursing team.The ideal candidate is attentive, reliable, and committed to providing quality resident care while working effectively as part of a healthcare team.ResponsibilitiesFollow the resident assignment sheet and individual plan of careAssist residents with activities of daily living, including meals, hygiene, and other personal care needsListen carefully to shift report and prioritize resident care appropriatelyCommunicate relevant resident care information to the licensed nurse throughout the shiftNotify the licensed nurse when leaving the unit and at the end of the shiftCommunicate important information with coworkers to help maintain continuity and quality of resident careComplete all required ADL documentation by the end of the scheduled shiftFollow facility policies, procedures, and resident care standardsRequirementsMinimum 1 year of CNA experienceValid New York State Nurse Aide certificationCurrent physical examination and immunization recordsAbility to communicate effectively with residents, nurses, and other members of the healthcare teamReliable attendance and ability to follow assigned schedulesDress CodeScrubs are required while working in the facility.
