Lead - Warehouse

Job Details Location: 2141 S 211th St Suite A, Des Moines, WA 98198 Shift: Monday – Tuesday – Wednesday – Friday, 8:00 AM to close. Pay Rate: $25.44 per hour (includes shift differential). Sign‑On Bonus: $2,000. Productivity bonus paid out on every paycheck. Responsibilities Train warehouse associates in duties and responsibilities, and in the safe use of equipment according to SOPs. Observe performance to correct behaviors as necessary. Use radio frequency (RF) devices to perform daily tasks. Assist warehouse personnel with efficient execution of order filling, receiving, stocking, and returns. Oversee shipping and general operations (UPS, emergency orders, general deliveries) as required. Perform advanced tasks and decision making as an individual contributor with detailed knowledge of the position and procedures. Provide day‑to‑day tactical direction and guidance to warehouse associates. Manage daily workloads and coordinate efficiencies in workflow. Manage inventory, including monitoring levels. Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and/or other motorized equipment to move inventory. Assist in supervision of the department, including assignment of work and manpower needs for associate vacations and building volume. Participate in associate concerns such as reporting and follow‑up to supervisor. Utilize computer system applications for proper operation and reporting. Comply with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules, and state and DEA regulations. Perform related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Two (2) or more years of work experience. Ability to read and understand English, including product descriptions, names, and shelf labels. Basic mathematical skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships. Strong organizational skills; detail oriented. Good overall understanding of DC workflow and ability to work with minimal guidance. Maintains a clean work area to prevent injuries. Uses good judgment to carry out detailed instructions. Basic computer knowledge preferred. Ability to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory. Team player with effective communication and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in operating reach truck, picker machines, pallet jack, forklift, etc. Maintains appropriate attendance and production standards. Compensation and Benefits Full‑time Salary Range*: $37,900 – $54,120. This range reflects a national average; actual salary may vary by location. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/NewYork/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois may differ by up to 10% below the minimum or 12% above the maximum.
