Shift Type: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, call rotation required

Candidate Pay Rate: $88 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional perioperative nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgery
• Prepare and maintain the operating room with sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Assist the surgical team during procedures, including robotics and general surgery
• Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia status throughout surgery
• Document patient care accurately in Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR techs to ensure safe, smooth procedures

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California
• 2+ years of Operating Room nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• PALS certification required
• Cerner EMR proficiency required
• CNOR certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of surgical instruments, sterile technique, and OR protocols
• Comfortable with a variety of cases: general, vascular, robotics, urology, ENT, ortho, and more
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a fast-paced OR
• Ability to scrub is a plus, but not required
• Adaptability to handle trauma and emergency cases when they arise
