We are seeking Special Education Teachers who are passionate about making a difference in children’s lives within home and community settings.
Position OverviewAs a Special Education Teacher in our Early Intervention program, you will work with infants and toddlers (birth to 3 years old) with developmental delays. You will design and implement individualized intervention plans and partner with families to support their child’s educational and functional growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct early childhood special education services to children in home and community settings
- Implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs)
- Conduct developmental assessments and progress monitoring
- Work collaboratively with families and interdisciplinary team members
- Deliver family coaching to encourage developmental growth
- Maintain documentation and service logs in compliance with NYC EI requirements

Qualifications:- New York State certification in Special Education (Birth–Grade 2), Special Education Permanent Certification or TSSLD/TSHH
- Experience with infants, toddlers, or early childhood preferred
- Knowledge of Early Intervention service delivery models and documentation standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to travel within assigned boroughs of NYC
Physical Requirements:- Hand dexterity ability (ability to operate mobile device, smart phone, computer)
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to travel to various locations on a near daily basis
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
