Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Coordinator to manage procurement activities and ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, supplies, and services. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory levels, coordinating with vendors, and supporting the procurement and supply chain departments. Key Responsibilities Include (But not limited to the following) Coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, and services in accordance with company policies and procedures. Issue and manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure the timely receipt of materials. Communicate with vendors to obtain pricing, negotiate terms, and coordinate delivery schedules. Maintain accurate purchasing records and update procurement data within internal systems, including ERP and Service Titan. Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain adequate stock. Collaborate with finance, operations, and field teams to forecast purchasing needs and support project schedules. Assist with vendor evaluations and maintain approved supplier and subcontractor records. Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable industry regulations. Assist in preparing technician estimates, customer quotes, and pricing for service work. Perform daily data entry and administrative tasks within Service Titan for HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical price books. Coordinate with technicians, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments to support daily service operations and ensure timely job completion. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain coordination. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with ERP or purchasing software is a plus. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills Experience working in manufacturing, construction, retail, or other industry-specific environments. Knowledge of basic accounting and budgeting principles. Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management best practices.
