Insite Operations Manager I (InSite Supervisor)

Clean Harbors is seeking an InSite Operations Manager I (Site Supervisor). This position is responsible for managing all company activities at InSite locations and ensuring project operations comply with provincial and local environmental regulations. Responsibilities Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes and acting in a safe manner at all times. Establish baseline audit protocol for all new waste programs; communicate and document the scope of compliance parameters for each project location. Work with company resources to provide follow‑up and ensure corrective actions are tracked; disseminate lessons learned for the benefit of the program and internal company audience as appropriate; provide written documentation of audit results and corrective action plans. Package waste properly to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance. Ensure that all jobs performed for a specific client or groups of clients are properly scoped, quoted and executed safely and efficiently to meet the client expectations. Conduct business development, maintain customer relationships, and scope and quote projects/jobs. Ensure the proper costing and utilization of labor and equipment for assigned work. Manage large‑scale projects, when directed. Ensure proper communication to confirm that contractual obligations are met and to complete requested services; validate project progression status and that change orders are completed and executed prior to any additional work being performed. Maintain health and safety adherence and address any issues surrounding assigned projects. Review operational procedures and assure correct health & safety plans are in place; communicate effectively with the health & safety organization regarding on‑site specific actions. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management from time to time, and as required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business. Qualifications Attention to detail and ability to follow direction while performing multiple tasks. Ability to interface with customers. Valid driver’s license. Knowledgeable about regulations such as RCRA, DOT, TSCA etc.; DOT training required. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field required; or a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
