Certified Nurse Midwife - Part Time!

Job Title: Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) Location: Greenville, NC Practice Type: Private Practice Employment Type: Part-Time Reports To: OB-GYN Physician/Location Manager FLSA Status: Exempt Position Summary: This position will be part-time and responsible for 24-hour call up to 2 times per week. We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our growing private obstetrics and gynecology practice. The CNM will provide full-scope midwifery care including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological services, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and high-quality care for women across the lifespan. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct comprehensive prenatal visits and provide education and counseling to expectant mothers and families. * Provide labor and delivery care, including attendance at vaginal births and support for natural and low-intervention birth experiences. * Manage postpartum care, including lactation support and follow-up assessments. * Perform routine gynecologic exams, family planning counseling, contraceptive management, and menopause care. * Order and interpret diagnostic tests, lab work, and ultrasounds within scope of practice. * Maintain thorough documentation in electronic medical records (EMR). * Participate in rotating call coverage, including nights and weekends. * Provide patient-centered care in alignment with practice philosophy and standards. * Collaborate with OB-GYN physicians, nurses, and office staff for seamless patient care. Qualifications: * Master's Degree in Nurse-Midwifery from an accredited program. * Current and unrestricted RN license. * National certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB). * Current BLS and NRP certification (or ability to obtain). * Minimum of [1-2] years of midwifery experience preferred; new graduates considered based on fit. * Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Comfortable working independently in a private practice setting.
