What You'll Do

• Set up and operate complex CT equipment for diagnostic imaging procedures
• Safely transfer and position patients, utilizing proper lifting and immobilization techniques
• Obtain vital patient information including allergies and medical history
• Prepare and administer contrast media intravenously as needed under radiologist protocol
• Capture, develop, and archive imaging studies for permanent records
• Maintain image quality through calibration and quality control measures
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions, including responding to emergencies with CPR when necessary
• Follow safety standards set by Michigan Department of Public Health
• Ensure a clean and organized working environment and maintain departmental supplies
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians on specialized procedures
• Document patient history and clinical data to support diagnoses
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental assessments

What You Need

• Valid Michigan Radiologic Technology License
• Current BLS certification
• At least [X] years of CT imaging experience
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures, contrast media administration, and patient care
• Excellent technical skills in digital image capture and equipment calibration
