Shipping & Receiving ClerkLocation: Plainfield, IN 46168 Pay Rate: $18.00–$20.00/hr, paid weekly Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am to 2:30pm PM Duration: 1-Year ContractOverviewThe Shipping & Receiving Clerk supports daily warehouse operations by receiving incoming materials, preparing outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate shipping records, and ensuring materials are properly documented and routed. This position combines hands-on warehouse work with basic computer and clerical responsibilities.ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, unpack, and process incoming materials and shipments.Prepare finished products, parts, supplies, equipment, and other materials for shipment.Pack, wrap, label, and route outgoing materials to the appropriate destinations.Verify shipment quantities, weights, item identification, and documentation for accuracy.Use computer systems to track, log, verify, and report shipping and receiving activity.Process freight bills, packing slips, bills of lading, and other shipping documents.Record shipping weights, charges, and shipment information accurately.Follow established shipping procedures, transportation schedules, routing requirements, and warehouse processes.Maintain organized and accurate shipping and receiving records.Assist with general warehouse and material-handling duties as needed.QualificationsBasic understanding of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or production-related processes preferred.Comfortable using computers for basic data entry, tracking, and documentation.Strong attention to detail and ability to verify quantities and shipping information accurately.Ability to follow established procedures and work effectively in a warehouse environment.No previous experience required.Benefits: Employee contribution may be required.Health insurance.Health savings account.Dental insurance.Vision insurance.Flexible spending accounts.Life insurance.Retirement plan.Equal Opportunity EmployerAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
