Eaton IS Aerospace, Mission System Division is seeking a Strategy Analyst to join our team. This hybrid role can be located at our Davenport, IA or Orchard Park, NY facility.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What You'll Do:

This engaging opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys combining Strategy and Sales expertise with strong business partnership skills. The position offers significant exposure to Leaders at multiple levels of the organization and the opportunity to work independently while collaborating closely with sales, pricing, bids and proposal and the Aerospace strategy team as a trusted business partner and resource. Strong mentorship and support are available to ensure success and continued professional growth in the role.

In This Function You Will:

• Gathering, analyzing, and dissemination of market data to support product and business strategy
• Development of leadership materials including market intelligence presentations, past performance, executive summaries, and other briefing materials
• Support the creation of product group plans as a means of collecting product data, developing strategy, and communicating strategy to the business
• Support the development of internal research and development budgets, business cases, and prioritization of technology development
• Support the development of long-range (5-year) forecasts at the product, business, and division level
• Develop materials to support key campaigns/captures
• Support customer and industry meetings to gain market intelligence
• Create professional materials for consumption at all levels within the business
• Act as a "voice of the Customer" and encourage team behavior
• Coordinate with the Eaton Aerospace strategy team

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Experience with MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, PowerBI
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
• Relocation is not available. Candidates must currently reside within a 50 mile radius of Davenport, IA or Orchard Park, NY to be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from accredited institutions
• Three or more years of experience working in Aerospace and/or Strategy
• Experience in process optimization tools
• Experience with market pricing analyses
• Able to apply ROI evaluation framework into the marketing function
• Experience with SAP, or other ERP/CRM business applications
• Executive presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance, Operations, and Engineering teams.
