We're looking for an experienced machinist who can independently complete full setups on both CNC lathes and mills-not someone limited to loading parts and pressing cycle start. - Independently complete full setups and operate CNC lathes and milling machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, engineering requirements, and GD&T.
- Select, install, and adjust tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters.
- Load and align materials and workpieces to produce parts within required tolerances.
- Run sample parts, verify results, and make necessary adjustments before continuing production.
- Inspect finished work using micrometers, calipers, gauges, dial indicators, and other precision measuring tools.
- Identify machining, tooling, material, or quality concerns and help determine practical corrections.
- Document inspection results, production information, and machine adjustments accurately.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance, tool changes, lubrication, and equipment cleaning.
- Maintain an organized, safe work area and follow all PPE and plant safety requirements.
- Use production and quality systems to track work orders and part history.
- Support production goals, continuous improvement activities, and the development of consistent machining practices.
- Have full setup experience on both CNC lathes and mills.
- Understand the machining process beyond basic machine operation.
- Can work independently through setup, first-piece verification, adjustment, and production.
- Take pride in producing accurate work and catching problems before they affect additional parts.
- Are comfortable reading blueprints, process sheets, and GD&T.
- Approach machine or tooling problems calmly and methodically.
- Communicate clearly when you identify an equipment, material, or quality concern.
- Keep your tools, documentation, and work area organized.
- Want to continue developing your technical and leadership skills.
- Are interested in eventually growing into a lead or supervisory position.
- Four 10-hour shifts
- Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday

- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of two years of machining experience in a production environment.
- Full setup and operating experience with both CNC lathes and mills is required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, and GD&T.
- Familiarity with CNC programming and controls such as Fanuc, Haas, or equivalent systems.
- Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, gauges, dial indicators, and other precision measuring tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Previous experience training others, coordinating work, or providing technical guidance is valuable but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds independently and use approved lifting devices for heavier materials or tooling.
- Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for precise machining and inspection work.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and work in different positions while setting up machines and inspecting parts.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment with exposure to metal, lubricants, noise, moving equipment, and changing production conditions.
- Ability to safely wear required personal protective equipment.
