Preventative Maintenance Technician

Job TitleWorking at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!ResponsibilitiesPerform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systemsInspect, diagnose, and proactively address wear, misalignment, lubrication issues, and component degradationTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to prevent recurring failuresMaintain and document maintenance activities, PM schedules, and equipment historyService equipment including molding machines, conveyors, compressors, gearboxes, and stamping equipmentIdentify opportunities for equipment reliability improvements and recommend corrective actionsEnsure all work is completed in compliance with OSHA, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and company safety standardsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum 1+ year of industrial or preventive maintenance experienceWorking knowledge of electrical systems (single-phase & three-phase, up to 480V)Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting and maintenanceUnderstanding of preventive maintenance strategies (lubrication, inspections, condition monitoring)Ability to use diagnostic tools and follow systematic problem-solving methodsSelf-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to work independentlyPreferred / Additional SkillsExperience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)Familiarity with PLCs or automated production equipmentKnowledge of predictive maintenance techniques (vibration, thermal, etc.)Certifications such as HAZWOPER or Confined SpaceThe Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
