Title
Labor & Delivery RN

Requirements
- Valid RN license in Washington or Compact
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
- Experience with patient ratios: 1:2 for labor, 1:3 for antepartum

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in the labor and delivery setting.
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal well-being during labor and delivery.
- Manage high-risk pregnancies and handle complications such as pre-eclampsia and diabetes.
- Assist with induction, augmentation, and VBAC/TOLAC procedures.
- Support patients through the labor process, including management of pain relief and medication administration.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, quality care for patients.

Compliance / Notes
- Compliance documents are due by the Monday prior to start.
- Requests for time off must be declared at submittal; post-submittal requests may not be approved.
- 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years are required.
- Travel staff may be expected to float to other units, and refusal may lead to termination.
