We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Project Manager to join our growing team in Wilson, North Carolina. Position Overview We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects across our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets. The Senior Project Manager will mentor junior project staff, encourage cross-functional collaboration, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and risk management strategies. Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor project progress, identify risks or issues, and implement timely solutions to keep projects on track. Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques. Provide regular status updates and detailed reports to senior management and stakeholders. Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and post-implementation reviews to drive continuous improvement. Mentor and provide guidance to junior project managers or coordinators within the team. Ensure all projects adhere to company standards, policies, compliance, and best practices. Required Skills and Competencies Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams. Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk assessment. Superior communication and stakeholder management abilities. Proficient in project management software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana, Trello). Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Attention to detail and a focus on quality outcomes. Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, information technology, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of relevant project management experience, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent). Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in business, management, or related discipline. Experience in the relevant industry (e.g., IT, construction, finance, healthcare, etc.). Experience with Agile or Lean methodologies. Change management certification or experience.
