House Manager (Unit Manager)Lead with Purpose. Make an Impact.Bashor Children's Home is seeking a compassionate and dynamic House Manager (Unit Manager) to join our dedicated residential care team. In this leadership role, you'll help create a safe, structured, and trauma-informed environment for youth in need of healing and support. You'll play a critical role in guiding staff, coordinating care, and contributing to the overall well-being and growth of the youth we serve.As a Unit Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of a residential unit, supervise direct care staff, and ensure high-quality, therapeutic services for youth. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver consistent, trauma-informed support in a safe and nurturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Supervise, coach, and support a team of Youth Care ProfessionalsOversee direct care delivery and ensure the physical, emotional, and therapeutic needs of youth are metCoordinate routines, recreational activities, transportation, and schedulesBuild effective teamwork across shifts and promote positive communicationModel trauma-informed care and reinforce positive behavior management strategiesComplete documentation including reports, evaluations, and treatment updatesSupport hiring, training, and morale-building efforts within the unitPromote professionalism, accountability, and a supportive team cultureWhat You'll BringBachelor's degree in a human services field (required)Leadership experience in residential, youth services, or related settingsStrong interpersonal and team-building skillsExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesKnowledge of trauma-informed practices or a willingness to learn and implement themSolid organization, time management, and decision-making skillsAbility to lead activities, facilitate effective meetings, and manage a safe, structured environmentHigh integrity, flexibility, and a desire to foster personal and professional growthSchedule3 morning shifts and 2 evening shifts per weekAt least two evenings per week, including one weekend dayOff-days typically include either Friday/Saturday or Sunday/MondayWhy Bashor?Joining Bashor means being part of a mission-driven organization dedicated to empowering youth and strengthening families.
