Assistant Maintenance Technician
Location: Benbrook, TX
Pay: $23.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Position Overview
ASAP Personnel is seeking a dependable and experienced Assistant Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in Benbrook, TX. This is a hands-on position for someone with apartment maintenance experience who can complete service requests, assist with apartment turns, and help keep the community maintained to a high standard.
The ideal candidate is reliable, mechanically skilled, and comfortable troubleshooting common maintenance issues while working as part of a property maintenance team.
What You'll Do
• Complete resident service requests and general repairs
• Assist with HVAC troubleshooting and repairs
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs
• Assist with make-readies and apartment turns
• Perform preventive maintenance and property inspections
• Maintain common areas, amenities, and maintenance equipment
• Assist the Lead Maintenance Technician with larger repairs and projects
• Follow property safety procedures and maintenance standards
Qualifications
• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and basic repairs
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete maintenance tasks efficiently
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Professional and respectful when interacting with residents and property staff
• Must have your own basic maintenance tools
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• EPA Certification and HVAC experience are a plus
