Radiologic Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift available: 5x8 hours (07:30 AM - 04:00 PM) or the option of 4x10 hours depending on interest. Every other weekend required; no call duty.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a radiologist. The technologist is responsible for preparing patients for exams, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. This role requires a focus on patient care and comfort while maintaining high technical standards in imaging practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for radiological examinations.
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures performed.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to optimize patient care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations for radiation protection.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT(R) certification required; Ohio license must be obtained prior to start.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Two references from a manager or supervisor in the specialty required for submission.
