Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry

Schedule: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to generalized cardiac patients of varying ages, ranging from young adults to the elderly. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively to monitor and manage patients' cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patients for any adverse effects.
• Conduct assessments and plan patient care based on individual needs.
• Utilize telemetry equipment to monitor patients' cardiac rhythms.
• Provide pre and post-operative care for cardiac catheterizations.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS.
• Experience with Life Paks, Zoll, and Masimo preferred.
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record systems is a plus.
