RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM

• 2 years of recent ICU experience required

• Interview with unit leaders required

• Must pass Friday orientation exam with 90% score or face contract termination

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

• Navy blue scrub dress code required

• 2 shifts of unit-specific orientation provided

• Must live outside 50-mile radius and cannot work for CommonSpirit facilities

• Driver's license required for distance verification

• Artificial fingernails prohibited - refusal to remove leads to termination

• Nurse to patient ratios: 1:1-2 ICU, PCU 1:4-5, Med Surg 1:5-6

• Care for adults and pediatric patients over 15 years old

• Manage patients with respiratory failure, ARDS, sepsis, stroke, renal failure, and post-surgical conditions

• Required to titrate vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics

• Must read and interpret telemetry strips independently

• Float to all inpatient units excluding Maternity/NICU

• Work every other weekend and 2 out of 3 major holidays

• Use EPIC charting system

• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
