Position Purpose This Program Manager II will be providing leadership and supervision in a team environment, with frequent opportunities for customer engagement, new business development, concept design, mission formulation, system analysis, detailed design, analysis, integration, and test, plus orbit operations. Title Program Manager II Position Type Full Time Pay Range $105,000 - $150,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) On-site position at our Lafayette, CO location (work locations are subject to change based on business need). Prepare,present, and manage for successful conclusionmajorprogrammilestone reviews Manage /performtradestudiesbalancing cost, schedule and technical requirementsandparametricanalyses Evaluationofexistingandemergingtechnologies Develop,review,andnegotiateprocurementdocuments(specification,SOW)and manage subcontracts Workcloselywithcustomerstohelprefinetheirneedsandprovideinnovativeandcompetitivesolutions Support and help evolve the spacecraft andcomponentproduct line offerings Generateandmaintainprogramintegratedmasterschedule(IMS) Generate andmaintainprogram budgets and forecasts, includingfinancial, technical, and schedule risk and opportunity positions Executeflightprogramsthatmeettechnicalandcostobligations Workcloselywithothercontractors/teammates/partnersinmeetingcustomerneeds Collaboratecloselywithtechnicalprogramleadsanddiversedomainexpertise Ensureallbusinessisconductedusingthehighestethicalstandardsandincompliancewithall applicable laws, statutes, and regulations as well as company policies and directives Otherresponsibilitiesasassigned Required Qualifications / Education 5-10yearsofrelevantexperience Bachelor’sdegreeinEngineering,orBusiness Management with Engineering background. Good documentation and communication skills Strongsystemsengineeringandtechnicalmanagementskillsanddemonstratedabilitytogrow new business opportunities and execute demanding flight programs Abilitytoworkrapidlywithminimalsupervisiononprojectsinvolvingbothsmallandlarge engineering teams Previousexperienceandskillsinprojectdefinition,simulation,implementation,labintegrationand test Mustbeabletoworkinahighlycollaborative,fast-pacedenvironmentwithemphasisinrapid prototyping and fielding of capabilities Relatedtechnicalexperiencemaybeconsideredinlieuofeducation Working Conditions This job operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.
