Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, primarily adults and geriatrics, to ensure their medical needs are met efficiently and compassionately.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care and administer medications.
• Monitor patient progress and assess changes in condition.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using EHR (Meditech).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in Medical/Surgical nursing.
• Current RN license in Tennessee.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required.
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience in Med/Surg.
