Your day as a Program Manager As a Program Manager in our aerospace manufacturing environment, your role will be dynamic and impactful. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, leading them through the intricacies of program deliverables while ensuring they meet strict quality and regulatory requirements. To excel as a Program Manager, you will need a blend of technical and interpersonal skills. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is essential, with a preference for candidates holding a Master’s degree. You should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in program or project management, with leadership experience in a manufacturing setting being highly valued. Proficient in tools like PRAs and Hoshin Kanri, you will be effective in managing cross-functional teams across production, planning, and supply chain. Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills are necessary, along with a solid understanding of AS9100 and IPC-620 standards. Leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities will be crucial as you develop and implement programs while fostering a collaborative team environment focused on excellence and continuous improvement.
