Responsibilities:

• Inspects and loads parts
• Masks parts when necessary
• Maintains "Traveler" information which includes flowing procedures Operates a forklift properly
• Reports any non-conform parts to Supervisor
• Possesses awareness of packaging procedure of parts
• Attends training, company meetings and updates forklift certification when needed
• Maintains clean work area
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Plant Manager

***Ongoing training provided which includes: On the job, forklift, written and verbal training.

Work Environment:

• Work is performed in a manufacturing environment which contains dust and material particles in the air.
• Temperatures in the facility are warm/hot at certain times of the year. The noise level in the work environment is medium to loud and may require the use of hearing protection.

Requirements:

The Packing Operator must possess basic math, reading and writing skills and be committed to observe and follow all quality and safety procedures. Must have good time management and decision-making skills. The ability to follow procedures correctly and inspect quality of work is of vital importance. Working well in teams from diverse backgrounds as both a leader and an individual contributor is required. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
