The Department of Marketing invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of instructor.
Detailed Position Information
The Department of Marketing invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of instructor, beginning January 1, 2027. Primary duties include teaching marketing at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Teaching needs include principles of marketing, social media/digital marketing, consumer behavior, retail management, product innovation/managing innovation, marketing analytics, marketing research, sales, strategic marketing, marketing research, and other areas. Responsibilities will focus mostly on teaching courses face-to-face. There may also be responsibilities for hybrid or online delivery modes. In addition, regularly meeting with students throughout the week related to coursework and student responsibilities is expected. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed and as appropriate to further advance the program and its curriculum. Service to the Department, College, and UA is also expected.
Minimum Qualifications
A master’s degree in business or related field from an accredited institution is required, but some preference will be given to those with a PhD/DBA in marketing or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching marketing at the college level is preferred. Industry experience in marketing is also desirable.
