Part-Time Faculty in Graphic DesignThe Humanities Department seeks to hire adjunct faculty for the BA in Graphic Design program. Multiple positions are possible, teaching in-person and/or online classes at three locations; our Chicago campus, our University Center at Harper College in Palatine, and our McHenry County College University Center in Crystal Lake.In addition to teaching experience, applicants should possess strong graphic design skills, including the principles and elements of graphic design, color theory, typography, page layout, digital imaging and illustration, photography/video, and be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud software including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Proficiency with HTML/CSS and/or Motion Graphics (Adobe Animate and/or After Effects) is a plus. A master's degree in graphic design is preferred, but candidates with a BFA or BA and commensurate experience in the field will be considered.
