Payroll Coordinator Location:

Yonkers, NY Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (one-hour lunch)

Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator for a medical center in Yonkers, NY. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of payroll experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with ADP Enterprise and ADP eTime is preferred. This position will support biweekly payroll processing, time and attendance reconciliation, payroll audits, and employee payroll transactions to ensure accurate and timely payment.

Responsibilities Assist with processing biweekly payroll and maintaining accurate employee payroll records. Review and process employee transactions, including status changes, tax updates, direct deposit, and payroll deductions. Review and adjust time and attendance records in ADP eTime, resolving discrepancies with department managers. Process additional payment requests, including on-call, preceptor, and in-charge pay. Review regular and overtime hours for accuracy and compliance with organizational policies. Identify missing hours, investigate payroll discrepancies, and follow up with the appropriate departments. Upload time and attendance data into the ADP Enterprise payroll system. Assist with pre- and post-payroll audits to verify payroll accuracy and identify unusual or missing payments. Prepare payroll reports, reconcile payroll batches, and assist with payroll transmission. Support payroll deduction reporting and accounts payable check requests. Assist with employee enrollment in and removal from the biometric timekeeping system. Respond to departmental questions regarding employee pay rules and timekeeping procedures.

Qualifications Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred. 1–2 years of payroll experience required. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required. ADP Enterprise and ADP eTime experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to review payroll data, identify discrepancies, and maintain confidentiality. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with Human Resources, department managers, and payroll leadership.
