How You'll Contribute:

• Sorting lenses by department, date and prescription
• Clean and prepare lens for processing, including anti-reflective coating, treating, and curing
• Inspect completed lens orders for scratches, aberrations, and other imperfections to ensure quality
• Prioritize and organize jobs for processing based on department requirements and lens treatment options

What We're Looking For:

• Standing for 8 to 10 hours on concrete floor
• Lifting freight and objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 40lbs
• Being around chemical smells, changes in temperature, and areas with walnut dust
• Safely walking, reaching (including overhead), bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, kneeling, and lifting as needed to perform job duties
• Work with optical lab machines to cut, heat, edge, and prepare lenses for customer eyewear
• Maintained equipment and followed safety and quality procedures in a fast-paced environment
• Must have reliable transportation, job is not on a bus route!
