Are you looking to join a fast-paced environment and provide clerical support to the clinical staff? This is a great opportunity to join our Emergency Department team as a Unit Secretary. This role works three 12 hour shifts per week - 7pm - 7:00 am.

Previous Unit Secretary experience is preferred.

Main Responsibilities:

• Organizes and maintains unit files, patient's charts, and performs routine office/ unit tasks.
• Is responsible assisting in processing the proper completion of admission, discharge, and transfer paperwork and processes.
• Answers telephone calls professionally, pleasantly, and relays messages efficiently.
• Maintains, organizes, and assures the availability of nursing, patient, and unit supplies. Replenishes supplies in a timely manner.
• Maintains/ organizes patient medical record, restocks with paper, labeling, etc.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Credentials:

• H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
• Clerical experience in a medical/ psychiatric setting preferred.
