Job Description

Join a dynamic site work construction company specializing in commercial projects involving earthwork, parking lots, and commercial driveways. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will perform various tasks working with excavators and skid steers. Spreading asphalt, carrying materials, and cleaning up job sites will also be needed throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators and skid steers
• Mix and pour concrete for commercial projects
• Spread asphalt on parking lots and driveways
• Carry and transport materials across the job site
• Assist in general job site clean-up

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of construction experience
• Proficient with power tools and hand tools
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions
• Mechanically inclined with paving experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with concrete, asphalt, or landscaping is a plus
• Knowledge of carpentry and tape measure usage
• Ability to work 10-12 hour days and 45-60 hour weeks during good weather

Work Environment

Work is primarily outdoors in various weather conditions, including hot sunny days, slight rain, and cooler temperatures in fall and winter. Work may be paused during heavy rain. Expect to work 10-12 hour days and 45-60 hour weeks during favorable weather conditions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alburtis, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
