Job Description Seeking a senior System Analyst to install, configure, and manage systems on Windows and Linux, gather requirements, and recommend solutions for ongoing changes and new initiatives. Strong collaboration with vendors and cross-functional teams required. Proficiency in cloud infrastructure, application monitoring, and security compliance is essential.
Key Responsibilities (simplified)
- Install/configure system and application components on Windows and Linux
- Gather requirements, analyze options, and recommend solutions
- Maintain and configure COTS/SaaS applications, monitor performance, and remediate issues
- Ensure security standards across Federal/State/industry guidelines
- Collaborate with vendors, customers, and technical teams to deliver timely changes
Top Technical Skills
- Windows Server administration (2016+)
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (7.0+)
- Cloud: Azure, AWS, GCP; containerization and IaC
- Web/app servers: IIS, Tomcat; MS SQL Management Studio
- Monitoring/tools: Dynatrace (or similar), XML, PowerShell
- DevOps/Automation: Azure DevOps, Visio
- Security/auth: SSO (SAML, OAuth, OpenID)
- Networking: LAN/WAN, firewalls, architecture
