Rhino Medical is seeking a physician assistant for a locum tenens assignment supporting a multidisciplinary outpatient surgical oncology department in San Francisco, California. The role involves providing care for adult GI surgical oncology patients, performing procedures such as staple and drain removal, wound care, and wound vac maintenance within a busy outpatient setting. The schedule consists of four days per week, with day shifts from 08:00 to 16:30.

The setting is academic and collaborative, utilizing Epic EMR for documentation and patient management. Providers work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team to deliver specialized oncology care in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

Requirements

• California medical license
• California DEA schedule 2/2n registration
• AHA BLS certification
• At least 2 years of surgical oncology experience, with preference for GI surgical oncology background
• Willingness to work in outpatient surgical oncology settings
• NP candidates must possess specific board certifications: A-GNP-C, ANP-C, FNP-C, GNP-C, AGPCNP-BC, etc.
