Corporate Staff Accountant

Skilled nursing experience is desired, but not required. Sound accountants from other industries are encouraged to apply. You’ll work with cutting-edge finance tools such as Sage and Ramp and be encouraged to build practical, day-to-day AI competency using approved platforms and tools such as GPT, Claude, Codex, Claude Code, and Gemini. What we offer Competitive salary and benefits. Paid time off. Company-paid office snacks. 9/80 work schedule: Work 80 hours across nine on-site workdays over two weeks, with the tenth workday off. What you’ll do Intercompany accounting: Record and reconcile intercompany transactions, resolve differences, Prepaid expenses and accruals: Maintain prepaid schedules, record monthly amortization, and prepare monthly expense accruals. Fixed assets and depreciation: Maintain fixed asset records, track additions and disposals, and calculate and record depreciation. Monthly close: Prepare journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, analyze account activity, and meet close deadlines. Financial reporting: Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules, investigate variances, and assist with audit requests. Workflow management: Organize recurring accounting tasks, track deliverables, coordinate handoffs, and identify opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency. Process improvement and AI: Use Excel, finance platforms, and approved AI tools to improve reconciliations, reporting, analysis, and daily workflows. What you’ll bring A four-year degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. A solid understanding of accounting principles, general ledger accounting, and financial Advanced Excel knowledge and skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, complex formulas, and the ability to organize, reconcile, and analyze large datasets. Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage deadlines and communicate clearly. Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to ask questions, learn new tools, and develop AI competency in your daily work. Preferred experience Sage experience is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or NetSuite is also valued. Ramp experience is a plus. Public accounting experience. Skilled nursing or other healthcare accounting experience. Experience with AI platforms and tools supporting accounting, analysis, or productivity. Prior AI expertise is not required, but a willingness to learn is important.
