Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – North Carolina

Start Date: September 15, 2026

Location: Highlands, North Carolina

Schedule: Rotating shifts including days and nights; weekend rotation required; mid-shift available seasonally (May-September, 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM). Staffing includes 2 nurses per shift with charge nurse when available.

• 7-bed Emergency Department with patient ratios following ENA guidelines
• EMR: Cerner
• Standard ED procedures and equipment
• Minimal floating (Med-Surg only when necessary)
• Flexible scheduling during low-volume periods
• Navy scrubs provided as dress code

Requirements:

• Active RN License
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC, ENPC, or NRP certifications preferred
• CEN, CPEN, or CTRN certifications preferred
• Customer service-focused attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Emergency Department experience preferred
