About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a focus on aviation. The CFO will be responsible for a wide range of financial and strategic activities, including the development and implementation of operating and strategic financial plans, capital raising, and investor relations. The successful candidate will also oversee financial reporting, and analytical reviews, and be involved in the direction of the company's IT infrastructure and software development. A key aspect of the role is to ensure that financial decisions align with the company's policy and to represent the aviation department in discussions with county officials. The CFO will be expected to have a strategic mindset, be adept at managing complexity, and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 6 years of executive-level supervisory experience in large, complex airport projects. The role requires a candidate with a strong business insight, the ability to manage conflict, and a proven track record of building effective teams. The CFO will be expected to be a strategic thinker, with the ability to anticipate and drive the company's vision and purpose. Interpersonal savvy and the ability to build networks are also essential, as the role involves coordinating with various third parties and fostering relationships both inside and outside the organization. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader, capable of adapting to different situations and ensuring accountability at all levels.
