Must have CHEMICAL experience. 135-150k + commissionBusiness Development ExecutiveChemical Distribution | North America | RemoteOur client is a global chemical distribution company seeking a BusinessDevelopment Executive for its division in North America.This is a commercial role for someone who knows how to buy, sell,negotiate, build relationships, and create profitable business in thechemical markets.The right person will manage customer and supplierrelationships, identify new opportunities, and help expand the company’spresence across North America.This is not a passive account management role. It is a business-buildingrole for someone who understands chemical trading, distributorrelationships, pricing, margins, supply dynamics, and market movement.You will be responsible for growing sales and profitability across anassigned North American territory.Key responsibilities include: Buy and sell chemicals across the company’s product portfolio Develop new business with customers, distributors, suppliers, andother market participants Grow existing accounts while identifying new profitable commercialopportunities Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers Prepare pricing, proposals, presentations, market updates, andcommercial correspondence Track market activity, competitor movement, pricing trends, andregional demand Work closely with sourcing, supply, sales coordination, marketing,and leadership teams Manage sales volume, gross margin, pipeline activity, and accountperformance Support supplier/product qualification processes in line with companySOPs Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally Represent the company at industry trade shows, meetings, andnetworking events Ensure all business activity complies with applicable trade laws,regulations, and company proceduresThe ideal candidate will have: 5-8+ years of successful experience in chemical sales, commoditytrading, distribution, or a related commercial role 5-8+ years of experience in the chemical industry Experience selling to or working with chemical distributors stronglypreferred A strong understanding of chemicals, market dynamics, pricing,supply, and downstream applications Proven ability to create new business and grow profitable accounts Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills Comfort working with both customers and suppliers Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate market dataclearly Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business software Bachelor’s degree required; Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, orMBA preferred
