Personal BankerAs a Personal Banker, you play a pivotal role in delivering superior member service and helping members achieve their financial goals. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with members, understanding their financial goals, and recommending appropriate credit union products and services.Personal Banker Job Responsibilities:Sales and Revenue GenerationDrive sales and revenue growth by proactively identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell credit union products and servicesMeet or exceed sales goals while maintaining a high level of member satisfactionBuild rapport and trust with members through personalized interactions and proactive outreach effortsMaintain regular communication with members to provide updates on their accounts, relevant promotions, and educational resourcesCollaborate with team members and participate in promotional campaigns and sales initiatives such as marketing call lists and community events to maximize business opportunitiesMember Relationship ManagementDevelop and nurture strong relationships with members by providing exceptional service and personalized financial adviceProactively engage with members to understand their financial objectives, lifestyle, and preferencesServe as primary point of contact for member inquires, concerns, and transactional needsTailor communication style and messaging to resonate with diverse member demographics and preferencesFinancial ConsultationConduct thorough interviews with members to understand their financial goals, preferences, and current banking needs identifying their short and long-term financial goalsUtilize effective questioning techniques to uncover underlying financial needs and opportunities for improvementRecommend credit union products and services that align with members' needs, including checking accounts, savings accounts, loans, and investment optionsEducate members on various financial products, services, and digital credit union platforms to enhance their financial literacy and empower informed decision-makingRisk Management and ComplianceAdhere to all regulatory requirements, credit union policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risksConduct thorough due diligence and verification processes for account openings, transactions, and documentationPersonal Banker Experience:Two to five years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positionsDemonstrated aptitude and desire for sales environmentBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredPersonal Banker Skills:Previous experience in banking, financial services, or customer-facing roles is advantageousStrong interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport and trust with membersExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenDemonstrated sales acumen and results-driven mindsetDetail-oriented with focus on accuracy and complianceAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing prioritiesAbility to travel to various locations, if applicablePersonal Banker Work Schedule:Monday through FridayGreat Benefits Package!
