Senior Manager, Tax

About the Role

Epic Games is looking for a Senior Manager, Tax to join our Accounting team. You'll work closely with other members of the Accounting, Treasury, Legal and other teams, as well as external advisors, on all aspects of tax compliance, financial reporting for taxes, tax research, and tax planning. What You'll Do

• Responsible for all aspects of domestic and international income and indirect tax compliance including review of all work prepared by external tax advisors.
• Manage the global tax provision process in accordance with ASC 740, including coordinating with external tax advisors and auditors, and preparing the quarterly and annual tax provisions for financial statement purposes.
• Partner with our external tax advisors on various domestic and international tax planning initiatives including transfer pricing and other international tax matters.
• Provide tax technical research and support for various tax matters across all tax types (e.g. income tax, indirect tax, employment tax) related to Epic's global operations.
• Support the tax implications of various business initiatives and transactions.
• Manage tax audits globally.
• Work cross-functionally across the organization to educate, provide guidance, and gather data for tax matters.
• Lead and mentor junior team members.
• Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
• Review and improve current processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy related to tax matters.

What We're Looking For

• Significant experience in tax compliance and tax provision (ASC 740) .
• Experience with both income and indirect taxes, including international tax matters .
• Strong tax technical skills and experience with tax research.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Excel and Google Suite.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
