Position Summary

A confidential manufacturing client in Riverside, CA is seeking  Inventory Cycle Counters to support the Warehouse Department. This position is responsible for performing accurate inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of inventory, cycle counting, warehouse, or materials experience , strong attention to detail, reliable attendance, good tenure, and a positive attitude. This role requires someone who can work independently, follow established procedures, communicate inventory issues clearly, and help maintain accurate inventory records in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, or scheduled cycle counts of inventory, materials, parts, and warehouse stock.
• Count, verify, and reconcile inventory quantities against system records.
• Research and report inventory discrepancies, shortages, overages, or misplaced materials.
• Work with warehouse, materials, production, and inventory control teams to resolve inventory issues.
• Ensure inventory is properly labeled, organized, stored, and staged in the correct warehouse locations.
• Assist with physical inventory activities and inventory audits as needed.
• Update inventory records accurately using the company’s system or required documentation process.
• Identify damaged, missing, incorrect, or mislocated materials and report findings to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
• Support additional warehouse or inventory control duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in inventory control, cycle counting, warehouse, materials, shipping/receiving, or a related role preferred.
• Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to count, verify, and reconcile inventory.
• Basic computer skills and ability to enter or update inventory information.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Reliable attendance and good work history.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with warehouse and production teams.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior cycle counting experience.
• Experience using ERP, MRP, WMS, inventory management, or warehouse systems.
• Experience researching inventory discrepancies.
• Manufacturing warehouse experience.
• Forklift, pallet jack, or material handling experience is a plus, if required by the site.
• Experience supporting physical inventory or audit preparation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and move throughout the warehouse during the shift.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required by the role.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Ability to wear required PPE, which may include safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, gloves, vest, or hearing protection.
• Ability to work around warehouse equipment, production activity, and material movement.
