Brake Press OperatorSet up and operate brake press machines to produce parts according to specificationsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job orders to determine appropriate machine settingsAdjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and quality of partsInspect parts to ensure they meet quality standardsTroubleshoot issues with the machine and perform regular maintenance as neededCollaborate with other team members to ensure production deadlines are metMaintain a clean and safe work areaUse various measuring, locating, and testing toolsMaximize throughput while minimizing scrap and material lossesWilling to cross-train in other areas when necessary to meet changing customer demandFollow all safety procedures, support a culture of a safe and healthy workplaceMaintain proper housekeeping of work centerHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience as a Brake Press OperatorAbility to read and interpret blueprints and job ordersKnowledge of brake press machine operations and maintenanceStrong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with measurementsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlinesGood communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with othersWillingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
