Registered Nurse - Pulmonary Care Unit

Role: Registered Nurse in a Pulmonary Care Unit (PCU) Responsibilities: Serve as a healthcare team leader by establishing personalized relationships with patients and support systems, collaborating with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans that promote health or support peaceful death. Utilize evidence-based practices and compassion to guide patients through their health journey. Manage and provide care in accordance with policies and procedures, ensuring accountability and responsibility. Key Duties Provide care for patients with respiratory conditions such as COPD, asthma, pneumonia, respiratory failure, pulmonary embolism, and pleural effusions. Support a fast-paced environment with a broad mix of medical and respiratory cases. Maintain a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio (flexible to 1:6). Participate in a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Current RN licensure in the appropriate state. One year of relevant experience preferred.
