A growing energy company is seeking an experienced Accountant to support critical accounting operations during a period of continued growth. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you'll contribute to financial reporting, month-end close, project accounting, and regulatory compliance. Strong performers will be considered for full-time employment following the contract period (Around 6 months). Apply today - don't miss out!Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with GAAP.Analyze financial results and investigate account variances.Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.Track capital expenditures and project-related costs.Assist with fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and asset tracking.Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests.Review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions for accuracy.Prepare regulatory, tax, and compliance-related documentation as needed.Partner with operations, project managers, and finance leadership to improve financial processes and reporting.
