Project Accountant Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 Why This Opportunity Stands Out Fully onsite role in downtown Manhattan, immersed in active construction operations Direct collaboration with project managers and leadership on high-value projects Ownership of project financials with strong visibility to decision-makers Work in a fast-paced, tangible industry where your work directly impacts outcomes Daily use of Sage Intacct in a forward-thinking, systems-driven environment Opportunity to deepen expertise in construction/project accounting Stable and growing company with a strong pipeline of NYC projects Clear exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and project lifecycle accounting Key Responsibilities Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking across multiple construction jobs Prepare job cost reports, variance analysis, and profitability tracking Oversee billing, AIA invoicing, WIP schedules, and revenue recognition Partner with project managers to ensure accurate financial reporting and cost control Maintain and optimize project data within Sage Intacct Qualifications 3–6+ years of project accounting experience, preferably in construction Sage Intacct experience (required) Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP, and construction billing (AIA) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Advanced Excel skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
