Qualifications & Experience:

• Current state teaching credential in Special Education
• Experience working with students in at least one of the following: Early Childhood, Pre-K, Kindergarten, Grades 1–5, Grades 6–8, Grades 9–12, or High School
• Background in lesson planning, implementing IEPs, and progress monitoring
• Strong ability to differentiate instruction and support learners at all ability levels, including in Math
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with staff and families
• Adaptable to dynamic classroom environments and student needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and specialized support to students with diverse learning needs across assigned grade levels (Pre-School through 12th grade)
• Develop and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student, focusing on academic and behavioral goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to maximize inclusion and student success
• Foster a positive, supportive classroom climate to build confidence and encourage participation
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
• Communicate regularly with families about goals, progress, and strategies for continued support
