Grocery/Dairy/Frozen/Bulk Assistant

The Grocery/Dairy/Frozen/Bulk Assistant is responsible for assisting the Grocery/Bulk and Dairy/Frozen Managers in the successful operation and profitability of the Grocery/Bulk and Dairy/Frozen departments.

Responsibilities include providing world class customer service, exemplifying integrity, responsibility, and excellence, creating inviting departments, assisting managers in ordering and inventory management, ensuring product standards, offering special orders, merchandising, managing department personnel, conducting demos, addressing performance issues, supporting store activities, handling register functions, maintaining safety, answering customer questions, increasing product knowledge, and using inventory management software.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in grocery or retail, food safety training, managing priorities, urgency, excellent customer service, organization, direction-taking, cashier training, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
