Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry RN – South Carolina

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM). Every other weekend required, may vary based on facility needs. Patient ratio 1:5-6. Floating to other units and facilities required based on census.

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical unit specializing in adult and geriatric populations with respiratory diseases, infections, dementia, and neurological conditions
• Must possess Medical-Surgical and Telemetry skill set with demonstrated competency; EKG exam required
• Epic EMR experience required (minimum 1 year); Omnicell medication system
• Supportive environment with charge RN on every shift to facilitate workflow and operations
• 24 hours of orientation provided; comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory, physical therapy, rapid response teams, and more
• Travel contract with potential for extension; pre-assignment modules are billable up to 16 hours

Requirements:

• Active South Carolina RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience mandatory
• Must successfully pass EKG examination
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
• Proficiency in MS/Tele competencies, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV therapy, central and peripheral line management, blood product administration, wound care, and isolation precautions
• Must reside 50+ miles from contracted facility to qualify for travel assignment
