Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and create specialized therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional aspirations

Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to ensure inclusive and comprehensive care

Educate Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their families on therapeutic practices for continued progress at home

Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on track

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution

Encouragement for ongoing education and post-graduate certifications

Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license

NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required

A commitment to helping individuals achieve their maximum level of independence

Strong, compassionate communication skills with both patients and peers
